International University of Scholars (IUS):  
International University of Scholars (IUS) established in 2015, entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC), and approved by the ministry of education of the Government of Bangladesh is located in Dhaka Bangladesh. International University of Scholars (IUS) follows a liberal arts approach as well as a research-based study system that nurtures fresh ideas and gives new momentum to the field of branchlet education. It ensures a quality education and targets to meet the needs of contemporary times. We build our students who can use their experience in seeking solutions to the challenges of our country of extreme poverty, illiteracy, and many more. IUS hopes to contribute to national development and progress. The medium of instruction and examination at the International University of Scholars is English.

History:

The International University of Scholars (IUS), one of the newest as well as prominent Universities of Bangladesh, has started its exodus in 2015 with five departments at the onset with the approval of UGC (University Grants Commission) and the ministry of education. The Trustee Board of the university; which has prominent patrons of education, eminent industrialists, notable philanthropists, senior civil servants, and widely experienced academics of the country; aims to establish a research-intensive modern private university for Bangladeshi as well as international students which will open the path to creating world-class researchers and industry-leading professionals. The university is promising with the slogan- We Build Professionals and by watching our efforts no one can deny our liability. The University is following an American-style curriculum with a strong classroom learning process by using technology for the teaching and learning process.

Campus:
The campus building of the University of Scholars is located in the Blue Ocean Tower, 40 Kemal Ataturk Ave, Banani, Dhaka-1212. The land area of the university is approximately 10 acres. We have three Schools of Learning as Faculty of Business, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, and Faculty of Arts & Humanities; and four institutions such as Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), The University of Scholar of Social Sciences (DISS), The University of Scholar of languages (DIL), and Human Resource Development Institute (HRD Institute).  It has six departments such as Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), the Department of Textile Engineering (TE), the Department of Business Administration, Department of English, Department of Natural Science.

Resources and Facilities:

This university has great collaboration with many international universities and also has international scholarship facilities. It has 30 modern classrooms with a digital remote control HD screen and 12 well-equipped laboratories; above all, there are 50 seated multimedia-controlled conference halls. The research facilities are quite impressive as they have three research centers, and they are Research Center for Business and Economics, Research Center for Science & Information Technology, and Research Center for Humanities & Social Sciences. Last but not the least, this university has had frequent seminars and career counseling events throughout the years, and this will open the eyes of our students as they can choose their future careers wisely.
Financial Aid:
International University of Scholars (IUS) was founded mainly to support financially disadvantaged students as anyone can find the cost of the degrees are quite lower than the other prominent private universities. It has semester-wise scholarships based on the semester-wise results of the students. The university has scopes of several scholarship programs for national and international students.
 In general, the International University of Scholars (IUS) has modeled their curriculum on American universities and they try to follow US academic features such as semester systems, letter grades, credit hours, etc. They introduced their curricula of undergraduate programs such as Economics, Business, and Computer Science were largely modeled on the curricula of the Universities of US and these curricula were approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh, the highest imposing authority of higher education of Bangladesh. IUS has an International Advisory Board, including scholars from all over the world; they try to counsel and suggest improvements on academic matters of the university. The university is offering a factual general education curriculum, has a strategic plan, and has initiated and equipped student instructional learning assessment for degree programs and courses.
